Les Forges de Montréal offers their workshops as usual. Guided tours must be done on reservation onlyand in groups from the same household. Our students and visitors must wear a blue procedure mask.

If you have any symptoms of covid-19, whatever they areplease do not attend your workshop or your visit. We will reschedule your visit at no charge. 

GOVERNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

OFFICE HOURS

Our workshops takes place every weekend, from 9am to 5pm, and sometimes during the week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9am to 5pm. For the schedule of your workshop, see your order and our reminder email.

Our tours take place on Saturdays and Sundays, between 10am and 4.30pm. You must book your visit in advance by writing to [email protected].

We do not accept visitors who have not booked their visit in advance.

OUR TEAM

Our team is ready to welcome you safely. Disinfectant, soap and masks are available on site, in addition to the measures undertaken by our team to makeshop safe during your visit or workshop.  

OUR MEASURES

- Cleaning of forging stations and tools between each use. Each student has their own tools and forging station, and the students do not share any equipment with each other.

- Cleaning of the exhibition surfaces between visits. 

- Guided tours are offered for visitors from one home at a time. There will therefore be only two homes in the exhibition: the guide's home and the visitor's home.

- Disinfectant and soap available on site for hand washing on arrival and departure, and at every meal for students at workshop.

- Cleaning of tables, chairs and stair railings between each visit.

- Wearing of the mandatory procedure mask: masks on site if necessary. The mask is not mandatory in front of the forge lights, as they are two meters apart.

- Social distance of 2m mandatory.

WORKSHOPS

To find out about all the health measures in place at workshops, please read our warning form, which our students must sign prior to their workshop. If you have any symptoms of covid-19, or if you wish to postpone your workshop due to covid-19, please contact us at [email protected]and we'll do it for you, free of charge .

VISITS

Please send us an email at [email protected] or call us to book your visit date and time. In order to disinfect the premises and ensure social distancing, we allow 15 minutes between visits and accept no more than one household at a time.
