Forge of a coal rake workshop
Description
This workshopwill allow you to learn how to forge a Coal rakewhile learning the basics of traditional blacksmithing, fire welding, and workshopornaments on your tools! The Coal rakeis a tool used to move charcoal in forge fires, but also in campfires or BBQs. In this workshop, you will learn how to make a glue fire weld, a technique that traditionally welds two individual pieces of iron or steel together, as well as how to process your tool and forge using traditional methods. You will go home with your finished Coal rake!

Other details: Bring a lunch and a bottle of water; a fridge and a microwave will be available. Please wear natural clothing (jeans, cotton...) and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. All tools will be provided on site.

- Making a fire weld by gluing
- Performing finishing treatments on a forged tool
- Create a twisted ornamentation at the end of your tool for grip and aesthetics
