Description
This workshopwill allow you to further your knowledge and skills in a shopforge by creating a unique utility item. The campfire tripod allows you to quickly set up a cooking grid and pot rack over a campfire. This workshopwill also allow you to forge a cooking tool stand, and a cooking grid to attach to the tripod. All of these forged tools are easily foldable and compact for travel! In this workshop, you will learn how to forge your own campfire set while learning assembly techniques to store your tools efficiently! You'll go home with your set and better forging and carving skills!
Level: intermediate
Prerequisites : to have followed our workshop Introduction to traditional blacksmithing and Introduction to Knifemaking.
Duration: two days, from 9am to 5pm
Minimum age : 18 years

- Become familiar with the calculation of the volumic mass of metal for forging steel or iron parts
- Making a folding campfire tripod
- Making a cooking grid to assemble
- Making a foldable cooking tool holder
- Heat treatment and finishing treatments
- Master the basic techniques of traditional blacksmithing and carving
