Description
Deepen your knowledge and skills at shopby forging these essential tools for the blacksmith! Pliers and pliers are necessary, unique and specific tools for each project, so creating them is an essential step in learning traditional blacksmithing. After this workshop, you will be able to extend your possibilities of wrought iron creations thanks to personalised tools.
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites : to have followed our workshop Introduction to traditional blacksmithing and Introduction to Knifemaking.
Duration: two days, from 9am to 5pm
Minimum age: 18 years old
Cost: $750 + taxes

Other details: Bring a lunch and a bottle of water; a fridge and a microwave will be available. Please wear natural clothing (jeans, cotton...) and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. All tools will be provided on site.
Goals and creations :
- Become familiar with the calculation of the volumic mass of metal for forging steel or iron parts
- Carry out a mechanical assembly by riveting
- Develop dexterity
- Master the basic techniques of traditional forging
- Creation of a pair of pliers and tongs.
