Description
Deepen your knowledge and skills at shop by forging these essential tools for the blacksmith's trade! Pliers and pliers are necessary tools, unique and specific to each project, and their creation is an essential step in learning traditional blacksmithing. After workshop, you'll be able to expand your creative possibilities in wrought iron with customized tools.
Level: intermediate
Prerequisites : to have followed our workshop Introduction to traditional blacksmithing and Introduction to Knifemaking.
Duration: two days, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Minimum age: 18
Cost: $750 + taxes
Places per workshop : 6
Other details: Bring a lunch and a bottle of water; a fridge and microwave will be provided. Please wear natural clothing (jeans, cotton, etc.) and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. All tools will be provided on site.

- Familiarize yourself with density calculations for forging steel and iron parts
- Rivet mechanical assembly
- Developing dexterity
- Master the basic techniques of the traditional blacksmithing
- Creating a pair of pliers and pincers
