Scandinavian bearded axe

The bearded axe was very popular both as a tool and as a weapon from the 6th century until the end of the Viking era. Compared to the sword, it was not only simpler, but also much cheaper to manufacture, making it the most important weapon for the common people in early medieval Scandinavia.

A custom-made leather case is included.
