Description

This workshop workshop will teach you how to forge a Coal rake while learning the basics of traditional blacksmithing, fire welding, and workshop ornaments on your tools! The Coal rake is a tool used to move coal in forge fires, but also in campfires or BBQs. In this workshop, you'll learn how to make a glue fire weld, a technique for traditionally welding two individual pieces of iron or steel, as well as how to treat your tool and forge using traditional methods. You'll go home with your Coal rake finished!

Level : beginner

Language: Our courses are mainly taught in French. However, for those who prefer instruction in English, we recommend enrolling in a private or semi-private course. 

Prerequisites : none

Duration: two days, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Minimum age : 16 years old

Other details: Bring a lunch and a bottle of water; a fridge and microwave will be provided. Please wear natural clothing (jeans, cotton, etc.) and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. All tools will be provided on site.
