November 16, 2000 saw the birth of Les Forges de Montréal, a project spearheaded by Mathieu Collette and his father, Pierre Collette. Since then, many other projects have been launched in the former Riverside pumping station, all over Quebec and even in Europe!

Over the past 22 years, we've made great strides at shop, even setting up a museum and a third research section; but there's more to come! More work is in store for our beautiful resort.

We would like to thank everyone involved in this project, from near and far: our team, the members of our Board of Directors, all our stakeholders, our partnerships, the blacksmiths who are friends of the forges and, of course, all our students, customers and visitors!
