On November 16, 2000 Les Forges de Montréal was born, a project led by Mathieu Collette and his father, Pierre Collette. Since then, many projects have been born in the old Riverside pumping station, all over Quebec and even in Europe!

In 22 years, we have made our shop evolve, having even installed a museum and a third research section; but this is not the end! Other work is to be expected for our beautiful station.

We would like to thank all the people who took part in this project, from near or far; our team, the members of our Board of Directors, all our stakeholders, our partnerships, the blacksmiths who are friends of the forges and of course all our students, customers and visitors!
