Visite guidée de l'espace muséal et de l'atelier et démonstration par un forgeron qui fabriquera un objet sous vos yeux tout en vous expliquant sont travail . Vous participez à la fabrication de l'objet avec le forgeron. / Museum and workshop tour combined with a demonstration by a blacksmith who will forge an object and explain his work. You get to participate in the demonstration by performing certain tasks with the blacksmith.
PROGRAMME F&S
Vous cherchez comment concrétiser la matière enseignée à vos élèves de secondaire 1 à 5? Le programme F&S- Forge et science- est pour vous!
Développé en partenariat avec l'école secondaire Georges-Vanier, il amène les élèves à passer une journée aux Forges de Montréal à chaque année de leur parcours secondaire afin de découvrir le métier de forgerons à travers son histoire, ses outils, ses gestes, les forces appliquées et les machines simples.

Developed in partnership with Georges-Vanier High School, the program invites students at les Forges de Montréal every year of their high school path in order to discover blacksmithing through its History, its tools, its moves, applied forces and simple machines.
