Description
In this course, you'll explore the art of knife-making by designing a hardened steel knife with a silk-wrapped handle. Whether you're a seasoned craftsman or new to manual work, our skilled blacksmith instructors will guide you through every step of the process—from forging the blade to crafting a wooden handle. You'll also learn essential techniques such as metal theory, tempering, and more. By the end of the course, you'll walk away with your very own handcrafted knife!

Duration: Two days, from 9 AM to 5 PM
Age: For participants aged 16 to 17, an adult supervisor must accompany the minor for the entire duration of the activity. The adult supervisor must pay for their own spot in the course. Participants 18 and older can attend alone.
Cost: $650 + taxes
Other details: Bring a lunch and a water bottle; a fridge and microwave will be available. Please wear natural fiber clothing (jeans, cotton...) and sturdy, closed shoes. All tools will be provided on-site.
